Biggest Winners Friday weigh-in Oct 23

  • As of yesterday, I am really cracking down again!  I had quit logging my meals and counting calories, just figured if I eat about what I was before I would be fine, right?!?!?! Apparently not!  I am back to counting and logging.  It also helped me realize that I was cheating more than I thought I had been.  I have been having a really hard time drinking enough water, too.  It's getting so cold that a cold glass of water does not sound good at all.  What I really want is a cup of hot chocolate or coffee!  But then there are way too many calories and not to mention the caffeine.  I already found out this summer that caffeine really inhibits my weight loss.  I started putting those falvor packets (like crystal like only generic) in my water and that helps.  I get a bottle of plain water in the morning and tell myself I want it gone by lunch time.  Then at lunch I get a flavored water.  Maybe someday it won't be quite so diffifult.  Once I hit my goal it will be much easier to maintain!  WE CAN DO IT!!!

  • Bunny, I know that is most of my problem also. I need to start counting calories again, and eat decent. I mainly eat at night at work, and sometimes I take a bunch of snacks, eat them and then not hungery for my main meal.  When I don't work, I will eat a couple of meals. I know I am only hurting myself. 

    I hope you can figure out what will help you. Those last several lbs are the worst.

  • ugh!!!!!  I was up on Friday.   I can't figure it out right now.  I thought about it today and realized that I haven't been as hungry and am having a hard time even eating my snacks in between my meals.  Last week I noticed it, but thought "oh, that's gotta be a good thing, right?"  Today I realized that it's a bad thing.  I think it means that my metabolism is slowing down again.  I need to get advice and do some searching to figure out how to speed it up again.  I had it down at one point, then I forgot all about it and poof, now it's gone. 

    Well, hopefully this week I can figure it out and have a better weigh in next week.  Good luck to you Char!

  • Well it's the same for me again. I'm at 136.  Maybe the weather has something to do with it. It's been raining so much lately, I have been walking around the house, not like  I was out side. I heard Jiullian from The Biggest Loser on the Today Show today say that  you really need just 30 min of exersice, but not just one exercise. Pick 3 or 4 different exercises , do one for 5-7 min than do the next one without rest in between. I use to belong to Curves. They have about 10 exercise machines set up and you do each one 3x's (you make the curcuit 3x's). That did help me, but now I can't afford it.
