  • I just started my new dance dvd's today. They are from flirty girl.  It was really fun.  I consontrated so much on learning the moves, that I was surprised when it was over.  That's what I like.  Exercising with out being aware that I'm exercising.

  • Me too, SuzyQ.  Still have to wonder how I managed to do it and not hurt myself.  Younger, lots thinner.  Military ball.  My leg on his hip and shimminying down to the floor wearing 3 inch stillito heels.  Now it's my ankle on his hip.  He was a VERY stable partner for dance, he just hung on to that leg. LOL Tall too....6'5".  Mind you, I'm not short, 5'8".  Hard to believe that was... OMG.....23 years ago!

  • I remember all of those great songs. I love dirty dancing, I remember when i used to be able to dirty dance, hehehe. I don't know how to salsa. I need to ask another question.

  • Remember Saturday Night Fever, Flashdance, and My most loved Dirty Dancing?  Loved the Disco era.  Still do.  Do any of you do Salsa style?  I'm getting better at it, not ready for public viewing yet!  LOL  BeeGee's, Stevie Nicks, Blondie, Cindi Lauper, (Girls Just Wanna Have Fun!)  What the younger generation calls Old School Music.

  • Good Call!!! Why did Micheal Jackson not occur to me before...?  My fave to dance to is "The Way You Make Me Feel".  I am gonna hve to download some more of his stuff.  Thanks!  BTW.. its freakin awesome that you were into the break dance scene!!!!

  • Since you was honest I will be too. I love dancing to Disco, i have several cd's. I used to be a very good dancer. Not sure if this will date me, but I used to break dance when that craze was big, lol. I used to dance some of Michael Jackson's moves, even the moonwalk. I was thinking about dancing to his music again

  • I am a big fan of dancing for fitness as well.  The way I figure, if I am getting my heart rate up and sweating it's good for me.  The music ,as an bonus, is good for the soul.  What are some of your favorite tunes to dance to? I rock out the All American Rejects, Lady GaGa and the Spice Girls (yes I know, Spice Girls?... but those chicks wrote great stuff to dance to and had charisma).

  • I do.  I've always loved to dance.  I just toss in a little arobic style moves to mine and I'm a happy camper.  Have to be careful though.  Not quite as limber as I used to be.  Getting it back slowly though.  Anything that will get the heart pumping and the sweat going has GOT to be a good thing.  Just wish they had a place around here for dance classes.  Last one left about  a year ago.  Bellydancing is very good for muscle control.  Husband thought I was nuts.  ( just a smidge)  Exercise is exercise and the funner the better.

  • I was wondering if anyone does any dancing as a form of exercise. I heard that its a great way to lose some weight.
