how long ago did you started dieting? w/ exercise.

I work out every day right now because I have the time.  I actually started the slimfast web site back in January and lost 23 pounds but, went back to work in April and put most of it back on.  I just got laid off Two weeks ago as of tomorrow.  I haven't lost anything yet either but, I know things are working because of the way I feel.  The scale isn't the only thing that you need to consider on your way to a healthier you.  I feel a lot better I have more energy and I don't have the pain that I was in to begin with.  I am doing strength training this year along with walking with my dvd at home.  I am going to try and not weigh myself but once a week because it can be discouraging when you don't see results.  Also make sure you measure yourself so when you don't see results on the scale you might still be losing inches because mucles weigh more then fat but, its more compact so you look slimmer.  Good luck on your journey and hopefully we will be at a healthier place by this time next year.  Teri

So I started working out every day in the beginning of October. I did that for about two weeks and then cut it down to about every other day (3-4 times a week). I still have not seen any weight loss. As a result, i am now including the Slim Fast diet into my daily routines and i plan on working out but im just not sure how often i should...any ideas?
