  • try sugarfree popsicles they are good. and come in different flavors.  drink plenty of water. put lemons or lime or oranges in water. if you have cravings for sweets try fruit like grapes oranges bananas . and try yougurt,

  • i have a similar prob. i'm good  all day til after dinner. Used up my 3 snacks, now what?  Plus i love wine!

  • Just KEEP DRINKING hot green tea until you can't possibly move. You won;t want to eat ANYTHING (lol).

  • Hey Kimbo!

Wanted to let you know that I have started to drink hot green tea or any caffine free tea in the evening. It is the most difficult time for me too. I will drink several cups if I need to and also drink celesitial seasonings sleepy time tea if it is getting late and i am still craving ice cream or chocolate. I have been not eating past dinner or 7/8pm also so the tea fits in with that too. I put nothing in the tea and it is really a nice change. I drink it during the day too if I want a snack or feel an urge to eat candy/ chocolate. It fills me  up and also gives me an opportunity to slow down....esp slow down my thoughts of wanting to eat sweets.

The other trick at night I have used is to use the crest whitening strips!!! It is a goodie! Good luck! Happy tea drinking! You get amazing benefits from green tea including increasing your metaba!!!

  • i am totally the same way. one thing i did find though... and it sounds wierd... well i really always thought i didnt like suckers. until about ten years later i ate one for the first time and theyre actually fantastic!!! i buy the little dum dum pops. theres 25 calories in each one and they have all fruit flavors even chocolate!! that one is my fave. but u suck on em for so long it really tricks my stomach into thinking im eating. im big on taste and this satisfies my cravings. also lots of water and the coffee or tea at night are a great idea.... but if u really need to eat something go buy a bag of frozen peach slices (u could use apples or pears as well ) and put them in the microwave with a tiny bit of brown sugar and nuke for like 5 minutes. add some fat free whipped cream (the sugarfree has more cals.) and stir. it tastes soooo great. like your eating a huge piece of pie. and 1 cup of these peaches only has 40 calories!!! its saved me soooooo many times!!!

  • I LOVE LOVE LOVE the jello idea, I had no idea those little cups had so few calories. I'm already a huge fan of the puddings, now I'm going to fill the fridge with jello cups... EVEN better SUGAR FREE jello cups. I'm drooling already just imagine eating 2 or 3 of something, we never get to eat 2 or 3 of something!!!!

  • I'm kind of the same way.  I do drink hot tea at night and most of the time I'm fine, however, there are those times when I'm just getting off work and I feel like I can eat my arm I'm so hungry!  I'm also a "saver," meaning like I think I have this fear that I will be hungry if I don't save my calories (almost survival instinct-I know it sounds crazy).  I save 2/3rds of my calories for after work!  I've tried eating more during the day so that I won't want to overdo it at night, but I get almost anxious if I feel I'm not leaving enough food for myself for later.  This often ends in bloating-I'm bingeing.  I'm the same way with money.  I will make myself poor and put all of my money into my savings accounts and CDs, so I that I won't have to worry about taking care of myself later on in life.  The only difference is I don't binge/spend on my money.  I've tried going to bed "not full" and I wake up with hunger pains around 2am or 3am.  I think I'm going to start leaving water next to my bed so the pain will go away at least long enough that I can go back to sleep.  I'll keep reading this forum, and hopefully it will help me too!

  • ICE!!!  That's very cool (lol) idea...never thought of it.  Awesome!  Hey, for a twist & for those that hate plain water, maybe freezing some of that Crystal Light stuff would help?

  • Hi Everyone the way I keep the hungries away after dinner is I eat Ice. I freeze Ice cube trays with a small amount of water and eat that instead of food it tricks the brain into thinking you are actually eating something. Also it counts towards your 8 8oz glasses of water too. Just a thought.

Keep Smiling just remember it is exercise for your face.
  • That is the hardiest part of the day for me as well.  Many times after I eat my dinner I am still hungry.  If I have enough calories left I grab a skinny cow and that seems to help.  If not then I chew gum and drink some water.  That seems to trick my stomach into thinking I am actually eating something.
