I'm desperate!!

I am doing the celery with Peanut butter for heavy hunger pains at night. Perhaps if you bagged 3 or 4 stalks cut in half (I use celery hearts - very tender and less stringy) and slide peanut butter into the groves. Bag them and take them to work.

When you see the goodies being offered at work, eat four pieces at a time.

You need to exhibit some "will power" at some time during this wanting to lose weight period of your life. If you get through the day substituting healthy snacks and avoiding the "office goodies trap," you cannot go home and eat 3 slices of Pizza, plus dinner and more junk food snacking at night.

If you do not "get serious" and stop all high calorie snack foods - high calorie lunches and over eating dinners or very very high calorie dinners and then the night time snacks of high calorie junk foods - you might as well stop fooling yourself into thinking and saying you are "on a diet."

The only way to seriously diet is to CLEAN OUT THE CUPBOARDS. get rid of everything and anything that you should not eat or use as a condiment if you are on a serious diet.

* That means the REAL MAYONNAISE and such has to go.

* The Butter or any Margerine has to go.

* The baking STUFF has to go.

You need to learn to Broil Fish, Chicken, and some lean Meats.

If you are lazy like me and do not want to futz with the fresh veggies... then get canned greens and rinse well before use. Get rid of the sodium.

Forget the PIZZA... you can blow a whole week of dieting on three slices of Pizza.

Stick to veggies -SOME fruits (some are high in calories)- and lean meats - fish & chicken breasts. Thighs are fattening - stick to white meats - just use common sense.

Good Luck!

I tried it and it worked to a certain extent. When I would crave something sweet I'd eat a can of tuna instead for example. It quit working for me but it might work for you. If you must have sweets then have them in serving sizes only like don't buy king size candy bars only regular ones. Try eating fruit when you crave sweets too. I hope that helps. Sorry if it doesn't. I'm still not at my goal weight either!

Help!
long term- something i am personally looking for myself. im looking to tone and lose about 20-25 lbs by early fall. if you would like, i can search for more answers and keep you updated, im certain it would be better than the constant ups and downs of keeping on a plan then losing it. i know that well.

Help!
There's always goodies brought into work that I can't seem to keep my hands off of and at night I'm always looking for something to munch on...added on to all of this, we usually pig out on the weekends w/ friends - usually pizza....I can go for about 2 months on a good plan but then I lose it...

I'm just looking to see if anyone has any tips that have been successful for them in knocking the cravings down...I'm hoping to find something that will work long term...
