I haven't tried those but I do have a funny story about them.

I get exercise videos for free with my cable subscription. They run ads on the bottom. Usually they're for sports products or painkillers but when I was doing a video a couple weeks ago an ad for Oreo Cakesters popped up. So not fair! I know if I had those in my kitchen, I would have had to eat one once I got done with that video!

They are more expensive per ounce compared to buying a regular size bag of cookies, chips, etc. Their suggestion was to buy the regular size packages and when you get home, split them into your own 100 calorie packages using sandwich baggies. It actually saves you a lot of money in the long run.

That's what I do for french fries, I divide them up into serving sizes then bake them one at at time so I don't just pour a cookie sheet full and then eat the whole cookie sheet.

It may save you money, but I know for me, its not an option. I tried it before and would snack while I was dividing out the portions. I would rather pay the premium of having the work done for me!

Thanks Sparkle and Marie, I'll look for them next time I go to Walmart. I think I might have seen them last time I was there, but I wasn't sure what they were lol.

The regular flavor and vanilla ones are both great! I got mine at Publix in FL so I don't know where you can find them but Walmart probably has them. :)

I have seen them at Wal-Mart. The vanilla ones I haven't tried them though. But with what Sparkleandshine said I think I"m going to have to try them. LOL I love the vanilla oreos but it isn't worth the calories in the to eat them.

I just bought the Oreo Stix last night @ 90 calories for a twin pack. They take a little while to eat and they are SO good! The twin pack is actually a fairly large amount so I was very surprised at how much I was eating for just 90 cal. Just wanted to share it here for us oreo lovers. =)

Where did you get those? I don't think I've seen them before.

You have a friend. I bought the Oreo Mini Cakester and did eat the whole box. I have bought quite a few of those hundred snacks and do quite well, but not this time. I also heard a news release that if you are dieting do not buy the 100 caloprie snacks because they are wasted calories.

I just joined this group! Instead of those mini cookies (and I'm a real "Cookie Monster") I have a cup of hot chocolate with non fat milk @ night and that seems to help that need for sweets. In November I went cold turkey regarding chocolate and candy bars..that was rough since my Hubby can eat anything and is still a skinny butt! Honestly, once I got past the choc. urges I've done really well. Sugar should be listed under "controled substances"!!!

LOL!! I just saw that commercial today. No wonder there were hundreds of girls screaming and chasing the Oreo Minis truck! It was soo funny!

Only 3 in a pack?? That is a bummer. Be careful with those and if I end up buying some, thanks for the warning!

OK, has anyone tried the Oreo Mini Cakester 100 Calorie packs? They are pure EVIL!!!! First of all you only get 3 minis that are about the size of a quarter each. Second of all they are extremely sweet. Third of all you only get 3 minis that are about the size of a quarter each. They are quite possibly the most evil snack I have ever had. The overly sweetness made my mouth dry out so I knew that even if there were more, I would need a glass of milk to wash them down. However, they are so sinful, I could have very easily eaten the entire box. In fact, I considered it. Several times. If I had bought a regular pack of them, I don't even want to think of how many would be left in the pack but its safe to say I would have eaten them all by now. Needless to say the remaining 4 packs are safely tucked out of sight and hopefully once the week starts, their deliciously soft yumminess will be forgotten until next weekend.

*Note to self- Stay out of the kitchen tonight.......
