I do the same thing with my chocolate shakes! I LOVE LOVE LOVE Reese cups and this is a great way to overcome the candy craving. I even like to have a shake with a well prepared Boca burger (in the oven, a small spritz of cooking spray, a little seasoning on top) for a great replacement for a burger and milk shake from McDonalds. I like to add a bit of cheese to my burger and it keeps me so full, I don't even need a snakc later!

Re: Diet HELP!

You should try Atkins Bars--they're delicious! My favs are the Enduge (candy bars) in Caramel Peanut Chew & the Advantage Bars (meal replacement) in Marshmallow Mudslide. They're packed with protein & only around 200 calories.

Re: Diet HELP!

Great suggestions. For healthy snacks I usually go for fruit. Fruit cups, dried fruit, frozen fruit, and of course fresh fruit. There are so many kinds that I like, and so many I've learned to like that I don't have to get bored (mind you I ALWAYS eat the same candy bars lol). Plus I can eat my fruit with cheese, yougurt, nuts, or even crackers (wheat thins are my favorite).
For the headaches-I drink lots of water and take a pain reliever. I know that the head aches and fuzzy thinking will only last a few days and I'll feel much better after it's over.

Re: Diet HELP!

ol'skool,

Try replacing your chips with healthier crackers - I really like triskets or wheat thins- just don't forget to portion out your snacks. As for reese cups- try mixing up your chocolate shake in the blender with a tbl of reduced fat peanut butter and some ice - voila! Instant yummy reese cup shake- tastes just like the candy cups. That shake is so rich I forget about snacking later on sweets. Hope this helps!

Re: Diet HELP!

You know I like food very much too and I love those reeses candies and anything that has to do with peanut butter, but I love my self more.
