  • yes, I want to eat something crunchy and sweet like ricecrispy treat. Try doing other stuff to get your mind off of it. 

  • Oh yeah...I know exactly what that is. It happens to me on the weekends when I'm not at work. So now I make a list of things I need to get done around the house or in the yard or garage, just to keep busy. I find if I watch a lot of TV it strikes also. I tend to keep a lot of healty snacks in the house so I can choose something better for me. Have you tried Luaghing Cow cheese or Babybel light?  They are both great healthier options. I love cheese as a snack.

  • It helps to set a time for you to eat a snack.  Sometime I eat every 2 hours.  I just eat smaller portions.  I eat a few grapes or pretzels or I have a yogurt.  If you would write everything down, as long as you stay in your daily calorie range, it doesn't matter how often you eat, it's how much you are eating.  Once you get use to it, you look forward to 8:00 when it's time for a snack.  Eating often keeps up you metabolism, just remember to stay within your calorie range.

  • I've noticed since being a stay-at-home mom, that my problem has been 'bored eating'. I'm not necessarily hungry, but I have this constant need to munch. Everytime I feel this way, I drink a big glass of water or I get down on the floor and do leg lifts, but I still want to eat. Maybe just a piece of cheese, or a couple of crackers, or sometimes, I want to make some full-on loaded nachos!! I have stopped watching the Food Network and Top Chef but still can't seem to knock my cravings. Anyone else have this issue?
