  • Hi, I totally understand and dieting you do get these cravings. You can satify your cravings without totally destroying your diet. Klondike does have a lite option to enjoy, also there are light ice creams and baked chips, sugar free candy that I find pretty good. So you can satisfy your cravings and still be safe on your diet.It's all substitutions and really, they are pretty good. Try sugar free puddings  and snackwell cookies,smartones has a line of delicious desserts to satisfy any sweet tooth.

  •  I crave sweets now . I normally don't want junk food but being laid up with an injury I want them . I use the MOVE diet control guides , from the VA , and the slim fast plan but I still want ice cream , candy and chips . I have gave - in and had a Klondike bar and potatoe chips . I get cravings at night .

  • I keep a food journal. This helps me because when I have to write down a food that is god awful I feel guilty. It might help you to write everything down just so you can see how many calories you are actually eating. When I did this the first time I was so surprised at how little food I was eating but how many calories! Because if you only eat a little meal that is unhealthy and it doesn't fill you up what kind of help is that? Then you crave more food later but you've already used up all your calories for that meal. I know because I have done it and it SUCKS! Haha. I'm in college so those microwavable meals were so easy and convenient but not filling at all! I know how hard it is but stick to it! YOU CAN DO IT! Good luck!!

  • I crave the same types of foods too! The bad, terribly fattening ones, the more calories and fat the more I crave it! It is SUPER hard. I can tell you with time they are easier to handle. I still get the cravings SO BAD, I mean unreal cravings to the point I even dream about what I am craving! For me what I have done is took a nice fat pic of myself before starting the plan and I printed off some copies and I taped that pic that I hate so much on the cabinets, mirrors, fridge, treadmill and anywhere else I might need a reminder of why I am doing the plan and losing weight. For me it is the one thing that helps me fight the battle with cravings because I KNOW if I give in and eat what I want it will all be downhill from there and I do not like what I see when I look at the pic of me and I do not want to be that fat any more so I find it easier for me to walk away. It is hard TRUST ME, I know. You CAN do it though, maybe find the one thing for you that helps you say no to the cravings whatever it may be, mine is the gosh awful pic of myself. If you get to craving something really bad allow yourself a bite or two of what you are craving, maybe allow yourself 1 special meal 1 day a week, but that also takes a lot of self control to stop. Maybe allow a small serving of the food you are craving when you get to really craving it. If you crave pizza you can look up nutritional info online say from Pizza Hut on their pizzas, and if you eat right the entire day and drink 2 slimfasts, snack on fat free fruits, salad with fat free dressing, then you should be able to allow yourself 1 small piece of the pizza for dinner or whatever your meal would be. I look up nutritional info from all fast foods joints and have printed them out and if I get to craving something I look to see if it would be possible for me to have a small serving of what I am really craving and I plan all I eat for one day so that I can spare to eat a little of what I crave. I rarely give in anymore I have splurged 3 times in several months so it is not often but it is a way to work around the horrible cravings. I hope this helps and just know most of us crave foods like you do, it is hard, it is a mental battle you just have to find your own way of fighting it and you can do it!!!! You cannot cut out all bad foods you just have to learn how to incorporate them every now and then into your new lifestyle or replace them.

  • from the cravings and the binging. i find that even though i am sticking to the plan i crave the worst foods that aren't  even good for me like table spoons of peanut butter and tv dinners such as the michelinas fettichini alfreado it isnt even good for me and yet im not even hungry i just end up craving things and sadly it all goes down hill from there. i dont know why i do this and im gaining wieght instead of losing wieght...any tips?
