  • The clock does not discriminate when it comes to food. No matter when they’re eaten, a calorie is a calorie. Too many calories throughout the day (or night) can add up to extra body fat.  Evidence does suggest, however, that eating 3 healthy meals-- especially breakfast—as well as 3 snacks is a good weight management strategy.

    The Slim-Fast 3-2-1 Plan helps you control your calorie intake while keeping you satisfied and nourished.  The Plan starts when you normally begin your day, whether your first meal is in the morning or at night.  Replace two meals with Slim-Fast Shakes or Meal Bars and dine on a Balanced Meal that is approximately 500 calories for your third meal.  Enjoy 3 Snacks between meals as well.  Also, make sure to include eight-8 oz. glasses of water or calorie-free beverages and 30 minutes or more of moderate physical activity each day.  Following the Slim-Fast plan is designed to promote a healthy weight loss of approximately 1-2 pounds per week.

    Take a few minutes to think about and jot down when you normally eat your meals and snacks. Pick the time of day that you will be able to eat or prepare a larger balanced meal in accordance with The Plan. Your other 2 meals will then be your Slim-Fast Shakes or Meal Bars.  Incorporate a snack 2-3 hours after each meal to make sure you are getting enough calories, to help prevent hunger, and to avoid overeating later in the day. On the days you have to transition between day time hours and working the night shift, you can incorporate 1 additional Slim-Fast Meal Replacement to help you through the extra hours. With a little planning you can make The Slim-Fast 3-2-1 Plan fit into your day for successful weight loss.

  • Hi! I'm new to Slim Fast and I would greatly appreciate any tips or advice on how to follow this plan working at night on 3rd shift.  I also have classes in the day time on Mondays from 11-5 and Wednesdays and Fridays from 11-12. I really need some advice.  Thanks!
