If you are waiting 2-3 hours to eat, then you will definitely be pretty hungry by the time you finally eat.  The good thing about meal replacements is that they are quick and convenient.  So, you could drink a shake after being awake only an hour to help jumpstart your metabolism, and help stave off hunger later on in the day.  Then, when you would normally eat 2-3 hours after that, you could have a snack which will then help hold you until you are able to eat next. 

It may help to take a look at your days and jot down the time that you would be most able to have your Sensible Meal.  Then, simply work in the snacks and Shakes around that meal.

OK I have been losing weight on my own for about 6 months and have lost approx. 40 lbs. I thought if I tried this program it might accelerate or at best stabilize the process. Anyway my comment/question is this, The plan calls for meal replacement, I generally am not ready to eat till I have been up 2-3 hours. At this point I am not starving but certainly hungry, a drink is not likely to stave off hunger as claimed. What should I do to change habits or plans? I have a very busy career and sometimes don't eat till 2 or 3 in the afternoon. HELP!
