Amy, thanks very much for the detailed reply.  I appreciate it. I have started using SF again. It's an easy breakfast, helps me greatly with my daily dairy intake...and it tastes great!

I've basically drank slim fast on and off almost daily for 20 years because I don't like eating breakfast. I don't lose weight because I don't stick to the diet which is my fault. But I love the taste. And I like that it gives me vitamins.

I have been using Slim Fast powder for over 5 years now. I have never used as a diet or meal replacement to lose weight (didn't have that problem). I make chocolate milkshake with it and drink just that for breakfast or add it to my regular breakfast depending on weather or not I'm running late for work.  The reason I have been using SF is that it is the only way I can drink milk or yogurt since I do not like the taste of most dairy. Never used to drink milk before I found slim fast. But I have recently stopped using SF thinking what if there's supplements or other ingredients in it that are not meant for a long term use. My question is, is Slim Fast Ultima powder safe for a regular long term use? Are there any side effects? Does it have any weight loss drugs or supplements in it? Does it use regular sugar or artificial sweeteners?
