  • MommyTink2885,

Typically to manage blood sugar levels, we recommend eating every 2-3 hours and spreading your food intake out throughout the day.  It is important to make sure that you are eating enough throughout the day, and not drastically cutting your calories.  If you are unsure of how many calories you should be consuming, you can respond back to this post with your current weight and height, or contact us at 1-800-SLIMFAST.  In addition, it may help to have a small protein and carbohydrates at each eating experience.  If you are doing all of the above, and still notice low blood sugar levels, you should consult your doctor.

    Sincerely,

    Ali Auerbach, MS, RD

    Registered Dietitian

  • I have tried dieting before, but everytime I try to diet or exercise, I have problems regulating my blood sugar levels. They always drop on me. I've even tried eating a little bit throughout the day and I still have issues. I don't know what to do!
